In 2009 Vanessa Gorski, a church member and junior in high school, approached the church to build a come-unity garden on the church property as her senior project.  With 100% support her dream was realized in 2010 when raised beds were built and filled with dirt.  Since then church members, nesting church members and community members have grown fresh produce and flowers for themselves and for the Thursday night community dinners.  There are currently 24 raised beds.  Check with the church office to rent a bed.
